Wii Music finally hit the shelves on the 20th October.
In Wii Music, the player uses both motions and button presses on the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to control a six-member Mii band. Unlike other music games, Wii Music does not require the player to press certain buttons at certain times but only requires the player to move the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like they were playing the instruments.
Over 60 instruments are said to be available in the single and multiplayer modes, including the violin, cowbell, piano, guitar, trumpet, harps, bongo drums, maracas, sitar, and the marimba, as well as unconventional instruments such as dog and cat sounds (Dog and Cat suits), pseudo vocals (Singer) and kung fu (Blackbelt), cheerleader and 8-bit video game sound effects (NES Horn). In addition, the Wii Balance Board can be utilized to play the drums. Some instruments also have extra playing options. For example, with the trumpet, the player can aim the Wii Remote up and down to simulate an increase in blowing strength, while with the guitar the player can hold down the C button to get single notes instead of chords.
Amazing!!
Here I am sitting and waiting to go out when my Boyfriend is playing on the PS3, 4 games after he said it was his last. All it is is shooting other people. I don’t get the big hooha. We are only going to go to my parents house and then play on the Wii where I will then get beaten on Mario Kart yet again. Why are men better at these games consoles than women? I’ve played about the same amount of Mario Kart, yet I am still far behind.
It is fun though when on the occasional time I have beaten him, especially when I’ve blown him up with a bomb and then raced past him to the finish line on my little pink bike.
Another thing is the PSP, we both bought one for some reason, not that I have played it much since, I think I got it for our long plane journey in December. But Ben on the other had can play it for HOURS on end in the middle of the night to try and complete a section.
Nintendo have announced the launch of their new game Wii Music.
Wii Music is an upcoming music video game for the Wii that simulates playing musical instruments using the Wii Remote and the Wii Balance Board. The game is part of Nintendo’s Wii Series, which includes Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, and Wii Sports Resort.
Yay, finally there is sun to be seen! A lovely weekend with loads of warm sun, I was looking forward to it of course. Now obviously I wasn’t thinking ahead so didn’t have any suncream, even though I was planning to spend the whole day in the sun..silly me. So anyway…ended up sitting in a pub garden for a few hours sun directly on my right shoulder.
Then decided to go for a little trip in our dinghy, amazing! So warm but had a breeze travelling across the water.
Anyway the point to my story is that by the end of the day, no matter where I sat in the dinghy by the time I got home I had one burnt shoulder, just one! Which was very hot and annoying. 1 week later it decided to peel, even after using after sun. So this looked a bit icky when wearing a short sleeved top. Annoying!
I live near a major city which loves football. Now they have just won the FA Cup final of 2008, woohoo for them! Myself though, not being a huge football fan, get annoyed with the amount of people who suddenly appear out of no where, just because of a group of men and a ball. Driving home there were flocks of them all dressed in the football shirt walking along the beach towards the big green grassy area where they were all expecting to see the players. I swear there were hundreds, but what for?! I do not understand the huge excitement about winning a game. How does a whole city suddenly become alive because of a few goals? We even have to plan what time we go out and come back into the city because of all the traffic getting to the home matches. Grr…football. An overpayed group of men who can kick a ball and run. Ridiculous!
